Cellars and basins
Prefabricated EKOTEK cellars were originally included in the range as domestic cellars. However, these rectangular cellars are increasingly being used not just for domestic purposes but also as water buffer tank, process technology housing, underground technical area or storage and waste water processing. These cellars or basins are ready made units with traditional reinforcement in self-compacting concrete. The use of this technology makes the walls extremely smooth and dense and the elements perfectly waterproof. All types are available with a loose, fixed or flexible cover plate. Floor slabs are available in thicknesses of 12, 15 or 20cm, walls in thicknesses of 12, 16 and 20cm and the cover plate in thicknesses of 12, 15 en 20cm, creating an infinite number of different options. Access openings can be provided in different shapes and sizes. Vent or inlet/outlet connections are poured during production in the desired locations. Internal walls, floors and even the inside of the cover can be equipped with an HDPE T grip lining to provide protection from against corrosive chemicals.
