Oil separators
The EKOTEK NETWORK supplies a full certificated range of concrete waterproof oil separators and sludge traps.
Oil separators are used to remove mineral oils with a density ≤ 0.95 g/cm3 from waste water in car garages, filling stations, carwash installations, repair shops, bus and car parks, contracting companies, airports, scrap processing companies, military barracks, transhipment and storage areas for fossil fuels, metal processing companies, etc. Depending on the volume of waste water to be processed, the range includes separators with a capacity between 3 and 300 litres per second, equipped/not equipped with an integrated sludge trap, bypass, alarm and/or sampling point. The oil separators comply with the recently introduced European EN858 standard and are available in both CLASS 1 and 2. When discharging into the sewer system class 2 will usually suffice, whereas discharges into surface water will require a class 1 oil separation unit (discharge standard ≤ 5 mg/l in accordance with VLAREM).
EKOTEK traps are high quality reinforced monolithic prefab poured concrete traps, strength class C60/75, which comply with environment class XA3 and exposure class EA3. Because of the high quality of the materials used in them, EKOTEK traps are extremely durable.
