Pump and buffer tanks
The EKOTEK GROUP supplies a complete certified range of concrete waterproof pump and buffer tanks.
EKOTEK pump and buffer tanks are high quality reinforced monolithic prefab poured concrete tanks, strength class C60/75, which comply with environment class XA3 and exposure class EA3. Because of the high quality of the materials used in them EKOTEK pump and buffer tanks are extremely durable. 5 different diameters are available, depending on the application: Ø800, Ø1200, Ø1500, Ø2000 and Ø2500. The availability of different heights ensures that volumes between 900 and 13000 l can be achieved. The connection between the cover (level cover plate or cone) and lining is made watertight using a rubber seal. All pump and buffer tanks comply with PTV 114 (Prefabricated concrete casings for septic tanks, purification installations for domestic waste water and rain water tanks). The chemical resistance, both inside and outside, is enhanced by using HSR cement. If the tank is used to buffer or pump corrosive industrial waste water, the option to line the tanks with HDPE LINING (T -grip 3mm) is available. Casing and cover are available in traffic classes B125kN and D400kN. The main advantage lies in the fact that no extra measures are required on site, i.e. pouring of extra cover plate or reinforcement of wall and floor, to guarantee sufficient stability. Depending on the application, feed-through openings can be made, ranging from DN50 to DN400 equipped/not equipped with connectors to provide a watertight seal.
